We've all seen and probably enjoyed an edible bouquet. Usually of the cookie or fruit variety, they are nice to look at and even nicer to consume. Here's a new one - a veggie bouquet!
Fun ideas:
- display your bouquet in a tall vase to serve from your buffet table
- instead of salad, make mini bouquets in small terra cotta pots for each place setting
- hollow out gourds or peppers to hold veggie dips
- add breadsticks to the bouquet for interest
- make wine-tasting bouquets out of different colors and sizes of grapes and cheeses
- if a bouquet is too much work, spear marinated olives or fancy cheeses on pretty toothpicks and serve alongside cocktails
